Soaps on ABC to Go Online Only Soon
Two of the most long running soaps are slated to go online very soon and be taken off TV. “One Life to Live” as well as “All My Children,” have been given to production company Prospect Park, which will apply emerging technology to them as internet-enabled TV sets have become more popular. For the ABC network this is the only way they can cope with the rising cost of airing these daytime programs and yet gain some revenue.
