What part will you play?
The media planner will support in the development, recommendation, implementation and stewardship of paid media plans which strategically meet the marketing objectives of Adult Swim, Cartoon Network, CNE (home entertainment) and Corporate/Ad Sales initiatives.
What will you be doing?
â€¢The media planner will support in the development, recommendation, implementation and stewardship of paid media plans which strategically meet the marketing objectives of Adult Swim, Cartoon Network, CNE (home entertainment) and Corporate/Ad Sales initiatives.
â€¢The media planner should have working knowledge of key media channels (TV, Radio, Digital Display/Video/Mobile, OOH) and have a general understanding of how the media mix can best deliver against marketing objectives, balancing the need for quality, impact and efficiency.
â€¢The media planner will serve as the â€œagentâ€ between marketing, the media buying agency, internal/external media providers and should have strong communication and client service skills. The media planner will prepare and maintain accurate reporting of projected and actual media budgets/expenditures.
â€¢Keep all media plans/flowcharts current and updated, be able to critically evaluate media vendor proposals, stay current on new media opportunities and assist in the development of post-campaign recaps.
What do we require from you?
â€¢Essential skillsets for channel management
â€¢2-4 years at an agency or in-house media planning and/or buying agency
â€¢Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
â€¢Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills and have the ability to multitask across numerous projects
â€¢Good accuracy and attention to detail
â€¢Strong mathematical and analytical skills
â€¢Proficient knowledge of syndicated research tools (Nielsen/MRI/comScore)
â€¢Interest/experience in Television/Entertainment advertising
â€¢Team oriented with the ability to work independently
â€¢4 year college degree preferably in Advertising, Marketing or a related field
