A joint venture between Warner Bros. Entertainment and CBS Corporation, The CW broadcasts a five-night, 10-hour primetime lineup, Monday through Friday. Opportunity Overview What part will you play? The CW Network, LLC seeks a Special Projects Producer/Designer for the Graphics department. The position is responsible for the design and execution of the networku2019s prime-time graphics (comedy & dramas), including general network identity, show-based promotional packaging, integrated marketing & other promotion-based content. Create original broadcast design projects in their entirety (concept development, storyboard/animatic design, full production of animations) with deadline responsibility. Interacts and collaborates (share ideas/concepts) with creative directors, other designers, on-air promotion management, writers/producers, and online personnel to establish identity and assure consistent branding. Maintains detailed working knowledge of graphic promotional packaging and network branding tools. Work to improve overall quality and efficiency of department by maintaining technical standards and troubleshooting problems. Quality controls on air promotional spots, graphic campaigns, other materials as assigned. Presents work in progress to senior management. What do we require from you? BA/BS degree in design or a related artistic field required. 3-4 years motion graphics experience required as demonstrated by portfolio and reel. Advanced level Design/Production skills (Illustrator, PhotoShop, After Effects, Cinema 4D, Maya) are required. Must be up to date with Apple computer technology. Good understanding of the Digital Distribution Industry, including Broadcast, Dotcom, Social and OTT and its technical considerations, production techniques and current design trends. Traditional artistic talents such as drawing, painting, photography, typographic knowledge and sensibilities are beneficial. Strong conceptual thinker who approaches projects with an idea, not a style. Must have good understanding of the promo processu201d from beginning to completion. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, if & when necessary.
