The main purpose of this multi-faceted position is as follows:
Provide overall direction for an independent/non-satellite site and its staff while performing normal administrative functions such as answering phones, filing documents, and assisting drivers
Monitor, manage, and maximize the procurement, storage, issuance, and reporting of repair parts and materials
Open/update/close repair orders, open/update/close purchase orders, and upload data to and extract data from, the Company computer system
Coordinate equipment repair operations with the on-site vendor’s shop personnel, the Omaha headquarters, other Company sites, and local vendors of parts and services as needed to maximize efficiency and promote the rapid and timely repair of Company revenue equipment
Respond, in a focused and constructive manner, to dynamic Company strategies and changing business needs
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

the above-listed position.
Remain current on site status and workload, updating priorities as needed
Monitor parts/materials usage and storage; arrange for replenishment
Monitor the work of shop personnel to ensure timely completion of vital tasks .
Open Repair Orders and update TWC information as necessary.
Input all work done & close out repair orders when work is completed.
Answer phones & respond to email, keeping drivers informed as necessary
Monitor facility cleanliness and arrange for janitorial needs as necessary
Perform other tasks as assigned by mgmt..
This position may have access to some amount of confidential Company information such as
specific accounting records, parts/materials costs, and similar material
This position will likely interact with other members of Gra Gar management and will probably gain access to additional privileged information in this manner
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

PC utilization and keyboard experience, including office and materials management apps
Knowledge and use of printers, facsimile machines, copiers, and telephone.
Demonstrated ability to maintain and update information accurately
Demonstrated strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
Some level of mechanical background and/or aptitude for mechanics
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school graduate or equivalent; additional technical or post high school education preferred.
Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in heavy equipment repair/maintenance
Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in storeroom and/or procurement operations
4 Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in managing processes and other employees
