I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.
The Executive Producer supervises all news broadcasts for content, accuracy, style, branding. The position also works with newscast producers to create energetic, appealing and creative broadcasts that will increase our viewership. The Executive Producer ensures script quality from producers, reporters, anchors and other contributors. The incumbent supervises all newscasts producers and conducts an annual performance evaluation. The Executive Producer serves as a member of the News Management team and participates in the decision-making process on news coverage and hiring.

50% Creates energetic, appealing and creative broadcasts.
25% Selects, manages, motivates and evaluates all newscasts producers.
15% Oversees all news broadcasts for content, accuracy, style and branding.
10% Oversees and ensures script quality.
III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience.
Minimum five years producing newscasts. Two years as Executive Producer or Supervising Producer preferred.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
INews proficiency, computer and newsroom software. Good leadership skills.
