Global Executive Producer - Live Event Production','00019102','!*!Gartner is searching for a Global Executive Producer to work on Gartner’s Symposium/ITxpo globally. Candidate will be responsible for producing and managing Gartner’s Opening Analyst Keynote (or segments of) for our Global Symposium Series and Summit Keynotes, production and messaging for opening summit video and various new initiatives. The successful candidate will likely be asked to support our Corporate Events team production requirements in addition to our business portfolio as we expand our reach.
Experience interpreting the content to ‘bring it to live’ in the onstage environment is critical for success in this role.
External event programs:
The Executive Producer will collaborate and influence senior Gartner constituents to create and produce the Gartner opening analyst keynote from inception through to delivery.
Be the Primary Contact working with Gartner research on messaging, program architecture and story line for the session. Ensuring a complete understanding of the objectives, messages, priorities and key issues for our attendees and internal stakeholders.
Architects and oversees the implementation strategy to execute a global symposium speaker program. Collaborates with the internal stakeholders and production company (third party vendors) or Gartner design team to ‘bring to life’ the creative messaging ie stage set (scenic); graphics template and design; video and all production elements. Media production will be required.
Producer will work with global third party vendors on creative support material for on-site delivery of session.
Create and manage the global timeline to be shared with key stakeholders and ensure team buy-in.
Communicate with stakeholders globally and confirm all requirements for all onsite delivery assets including staging, graphics, audio, animation and all creative media components.
Lead weekly meetings with research team each week creating agendas as well as minutes from meetings and tracking action items
Responsible onsite for managing the AV team/production agency all rehearsal and presentation room set up requirements; all operational elements for the keynote delivery including show direction, content delivery feedback etc.
Manage onsite rehearsal and delivery of keynote – performance training would be considered an advantage
Management of Budget for production pieces globally
Recommendations for process improvements and full program debrief (program, content, messaging, operations, marketing, communication etc.)
Guide stakeholders through the process; become their trusted advisor through pre-production, pre-event and onsite rehearsals, keynote or session delivery.
Manage pre-production, onsite production for various often high profile external keynotes who are part of the agenda, ensuring all pre-production and content development creation and pre-event screening, working with the external events team to ensure all logistics are in place, and managing and successful delivery onsite.
Corporate events program:
Gartner Corporate events team deliver an extensive internal events program. In additional to the external events portfolio, at times you will be asked to support in the Corporate Events programs including and not exclusively: All Company Meeting, Investor Day, Leadership Summits, Sales Kickoff, Townhalls and Sales Manager Meetings.
Mange the production of Gartner’s internal corporate events including All Company Meeting, Investor Day, Leadership Summit, Sales Kickoff and Sales Manager Meetings.
Ensure the content produced meets the needs of the key stakeholders
Determine all AV and media needs in order to deliver high quality events
Collaborate closely across all business units to determine budget, production plan and additional technology needed for the event
Retain list of reliable vendors providing support for event production
Vet, negotiate, select and manage vendor for each event
Lead team of production staff and communicate all technical, scenic and creative requirements
Take responsibility for all media production: Work with Studio 56 and external providers where appropriate to ensure all video assets and supporting graphics are to spec and delivered on time
Conduct site surveys for potential locations and venues to host event
Build unique run of show document per event to utilize as tool for directing and show calling
Onsite supervision of build-out, rehearsals and show day
Assess other corporate events to build portfolio
Town Halls, other business unit’s kickoff, etc.
Effectively scale the delivery and production in line with the growth trajectory for the events both internal and customer facing working with vendors who produce Gartner’s larger, external facing, events (Symposium, Security, Data Center, etc.)
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and service delivery teams
High Scores from clients on Keynote in each region
Flawless client experience – continual understanding of attendees key priorities and map back to those metrics
Build and maintain excellent working relationships

To be successful in this role, extensive domestic and international travel will be required','!*!
7-10 years’ experience in Events Industry in related roles such as Executive Producer, Event Director, Creative Director (as examples)
Project management, team leadership and keynote production experience.
End to end understanding of live event keynote and large scale session production
Large scale agency management
Global experience preferred – US & Canada, LATAM, EMEA, LATAM, Japan & China
Market research, product program development and experiential marketing – preferred experience in IT, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and HR would also be considered an advantage.
Demonstrated production and account management competencies: client focus, accountability for results, team effectiveness, and attention to detail, creativity, agility, professional confidence, influencing others (particularly others who don’t report to you) and a sense of urgency are all requirements to be successful in this role.
Effective leadership skills
Live event technical understanding (ie what the technology can give you, not necessarily operating) and full event keynote production experience
Competent Project Manager, Producer and Show Director
Fully competent in Microsoft office, especially Excel
