Work You'll Do:

As a Video Editor in Consulting, you will be engaged on our most strategic sales opportunities, working closely with client account teams and sales leaders to produce creative and compelling short form videos, that emotively connect with our clients on strategic issues and market growth opportunities.

Specific activities include, but are not limited to:

Producing creative and compelling short form videos across a broad range of content purposes from promotional/informational content to aspirational journey stories and inspirational introductions.

Assisting and executing creative processes, content development, production, and exercising both creative abilities and technical skills

Assisting and coaching the video and production professional(s) who manage on-set/off-site shooting, post-production editing, and maintenance of all digital assets

Candidate must be a creative thinker and problem-solver to bring new ideas and identify opportunities for improvement in production processes

Assisting in crafting a compelling value proposition, winning message, and story

Thinking and working creatively to close content gaps in the stories we develop

Managing risk and elevate issues, team needs, requests for resources, as needed

Bringing best practices from previous experience and continued commitment to grow professionally

The Team

The U.S. Consulting Sales Excellence (SE) practice serves our industry, service offering and account teams in driving sales success. SE supports the sales life cycle from identification and prioritization of the opportunity all the way through to closing the deal. The Sales Excellence organization comprises several sub-teams, including our Sales Executive organization, Pursuit Center of Excellence (PCOE), Proposal Studio, Pricing & Commercial Deal Support, Competitive Intelligence, Value Center of Excellence, Sales Learning & Development, and Neuroscience of Winning, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) activities and more.

The team member will be aligned to the Deloitte Consulting National Office, comprised of professionals with various areas of focus that collectively provide mission critical services to support Consulting's overall success. Whether focused on project financials, quality and risk management, methods and tools, sales excellence, talent, leadership support, or other activities, these professionals ensure that our firm operates efficiently and that our people can effectively serve clients every day.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree in film studies, cinematography, editing or related creative discipline.

Experience with digital technology and editing software packages, such as Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Audition

Ability to travel 20-40%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred:

Thorough technical knowledge of video production, filming techniques and equipment, composition, lighting, multi-cam setups, audio, media management.

Highly detail oriented and strong communication skills

Great storytelling sensibility

Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask, troubleshoot, and work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy being a team player

US Eastern or Central Time zone preferred

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,000 to $140,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
