WBRC Fox6 in Birmingham, AL is looking for a Multi-Media Journalist who can tell a story on all platforms and keep up with the real-time pace of content development. This is not an entry level position.
The ideal candidate has at least three years of newsroom experience. This position requires shooting video, editing, crafting a story online and on air efficiently and creatively, while keeping up with the now pace of social media. You will be expected to contribute to all of the digital platforms while still being firmly planted in the roots of journalism.
Successful candidate will be able to navigate stories solo or with another journalist. You must be able to research, pitch and execute your own story ideas, as well as contribute to group projects while helping shape the newsroom of the future.
