KFDA NewsChannel 10, the #1 rated television station and CBS affiliate in Amarillo, Texas, is looking for an entry-level multimedia producer to write, edit, and present high-quality content for our broadcast and digital platforms.
Our multimedia producers are responsible for the delivery of local, regional or national news scripts and video content to multiple mediums --traditional broadcast, dotcom, mobile apps, social media and more. These \u201cbehind-the-scenes\u201d journalists work as a team under the direction of content managers to ensure the success of their daily tasks.
Ideal candidates for this job have natural creative talents and a thorough understanding of basic journalism practices. Training on multiple content management systems and equipment will be provided. Experience in basic computing and non-linear video editing software, obtained through higher education or otherwise, is preferred but not required. Ideal applicants should be flexible with scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
