POST PRODUCTION PRODUCER-

Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate all aspects of post-production and editing
Track post schedules (including timelines for picture edit, animation / graphics, etc).
Work closely with Producers, Professors and stakeholders to ensure the project meets their needs and objectives
Make creative decisions regarding the editing of projects based on written scripts and/or input from the Producer or Professor, ensuring quality control and consistency of final project
Maintain relationships with post talent and external vendors
Clearly communicate with Producers and all post-production staff
Guide digital education projects throughout post-production to ensure quality and timeline are met.
4 years’ experience required
working in post-production for a corporate, creative or media, agency or production company.
Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in Video/Film Production, Communications, Marketing, Education or related field preferred.
Reel or portfolio demonstrating past work.
Cutting edge command of modern digital video production, equipment and processes
Elementary experience with 2D/3D graphics production
Ability to manage and resolve conflict quickly and effectively with solutions-oriented approach
Ability to give creative direction
Demonstrated understanding of branding and style
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proactive problem-solver and a team player
Strong familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite: After Effects, Premiere and other post software
Extensive knowledge of post-production process, file formats, tablet & app development
Experience with Digital/Media Asset Management systems, and Product/Project Management systems
Customer service orientation; professional presence and superior client relationship skills
Ability to switch from one project to another quickly and effectively; ability to quickly prioritize and re-organize events, projects and resources
Must have a commitment to excellence and to ongoing education in production and to the mastery of their craft
